Mission: Probable

Wed Oct 28, 2009, 1:04 PM
I spoke with my stake president today and I will likely be turning in my papers to serve an LDS mission before the end of summer. Exciting, right? I hope I can get $11,000 before then, otherwise I'll be paying off mission debts well into college.

I want to go to Europe, or maybe some 3rd world country that will force me to get into shape by starving me and making me walk for miles in an infernal, hot sun. I guess we'll have to see.

In other news: I took the ACT again. As soon as I get the results back (I'm hoping to beat the 25 I already have) and check my admissions index I'll start applying for college. I've got a pretty good feeling I'll either be going to Southern Utah University or Utah State, majoring in English or Sociology to start.

I went with the Lone Peak Shakespeare team to Cedar City and performed a monologue for 3 judges, and it took 3rd place in the competition. I'm willing to bet that it was the hardest, most well-earned accomplishment of my life so far (But hopefully not for long).

Anyhow, I'll talk to you guys later.

you know, the 'faved' foxes you have I really like. Have you attempted to draw a fox before? I haven't posted my own yet but I did get my request upon how someone else saw it. [link] Looks just a little like a cat but still is pretty darn close to what I had imagined (done in Sega style, imagened in "project goa" style)

Well, most foxes I've done are a bit different from what you might find elsewhere, but they still fit the fox's characteristics to some degree:

Never tried anything in the style of Sega though.

You should start and give it a try.
Sonic and all those main characters(including fan made) would be very good examples.

Well, I'm a semi-fan of the old Sonic games, but I don't know that I'm interested in the art enough to bring myself to drawing it ^^;
